This year Photosnap had the pleasure of providing our Signature Photobooth and InstaPrinter to get the party started and the event hashtags trending at the 2016 Cancer No Bueno Charity Ball. 

Raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation Cancer No Bueno was first held in 2014, and has fast become one of Perth’s most anticipated annual Charity Balls – for good reason!


An incredible atmosphere the event truly put the FUN into fundraising. The evening was filled with raffles, games, a silent auction thanks to donations from local businesses, entertainment from local bands and DJs, and was topped off with loads of fun thanks to our Photobooths.

We had our Signature Booth tucked classily into one corner, set up with props galore for guests to enjoy. Photo Booths are always a fantastic hit at balls and charity functions for guests to have some fun snapping selfies with their squad, the novelty of a physical instant print out of snaps never getting old!

Even though the event was attended by photographers from The Sunday Times, The West, The Social Pages and professional event photographers, it seems you really can’t go past snapping a few selfies in the booth to take home with you.

The photobooth hosted over 300 sessions throughout the evening (see all the photo booth photos on Facebook here) with a steady flow of visitors all night, and our InstaPrinter was also a HUGE hit, helping to advertise the event and get hashtags trending on social media.

If you haven’t heard of an Instagram Printer before, you will LOVE this! Guests were encouraged to tag their photos with official event hashtags #‎cancernobueno2016‬ and ‪#‎partycauseyoucare‬ in order to get a print out. Any hashtagged photos were then easily found using the InstaPrinter’s 22″ touch screen and printed as Instagram style polaroids. This resulted in over 100 posts to instagram during the event, fantastic advertising for the cause and a great way to get the event trending. Find out more about the InstaPrinter here.

Safe to say it was a very successful night for Cancer No Bueno both at the event and on social media – and we couldn’t be happier to have our booths helping to advertise such a good cause!

Since 2014 the event has raised over $60,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation and this year’s event is predicted to have raised more than ever before. Photosnap were incredibly pleased to have been a part of this, providing some added entertainment for the night and helping to spread the word about this awesome event and charity.
