Green Goodness Co – Increasing brand engagement with a photobooth and InstaPrinter

It’s the age-old question that companies face at exhibitions – how do we increase our brand engagement with attendees at our stall?

For local online health and wellness community Green Goodness Co, this was the exact question they had asked themselves in the lead up to attending and exhibiting at this year’s Secrets in the Garden event.

Without any products or physical services to offer, they realised they would need more than just a pull up banner and some booklets to get people over to their stall and excited about the company!

They needed to achieve two key things; attract people to their stall, and improve brand engagement and exposure both at the event and online.

These objectives led to the creation of the ‘Green Goodness Co Chill Out Zone’, an area where people could have fun whilst learning how to ‘find health your way’ and interact directly with the company owners and the online services. In order to bring the fun and attract people to the zone, Photosnap were asked to supply our Open Photobooth and our brand new InstaPrinter


Photobooths are hugely popular for corporate functions, exhibitions and brand activations. For Green Goodness Co the photo booths helped create a vibrant energy and offered something different that made the Chill Out Zone the ‘must-visit’ stall of the day!

IMG_8261The GGC Chill Out Zone was a total hit with people lining up to snap some photos in the booth to get their own branded photo strip memento and print out their instagram photos straight from the InstaPrinter. Everything went smoothly and according to plan, with visitors posting a ton of photos to their own instagram, then using the #livingthegreen hashtag so that the InstaPrinter could pick them up and print them out as branded Instagram style polaroids.

Through this, use of the hashtag skyrocketed with over 60 event goers using the unique tag when sharing their photos. It was the highest use of #livingthegreen in one day ever! This enabled GGC to achieve even greater brand exposure and free advertising to both those who attended the event and those who did not.

IMG_2250“We couldn’t believe how much of a hit the booths were! We had a great time engaging with the attendees and getting to talk to them about our business in a really casual but engaging way. We noticed that everyone was more receptive to hearing about Green Goodness Co when they were in the atmosphere of the stall, whereas at other events, it’s felt more like a cold sales pitch.”

Whilst keeping it simple with the props and DIY backdrop in the name of all things good and green, the branded photo strips were the perfect way to get the GGC brand to remain with the users, long after they left the event.


For those wanting to take advantage of the booth and Instaprinter, there was a gold coin donation with money raised being donated to the Woman’s Council for Domestic & Family Violence Service. This was well received by the booth goers with over $300 being raised in the 9am – 4pm session.
